Innocent Joy of Childhood

Image
I met these 3 kids on my way to the village of champadevi temple, Kathmandu and it was a refreshing experience. The kids were around 8 to 10 years old and they playing with their cartoon masks. They were carefree and enjoying their best life, and it was a delight to watch them play. As I approached them, they looked at me with curiosity and smiled. I smiled back and introduce myself. They were shy at first but so on they opened up and started talking. They told me about their school and their favorite subjects. They also talked about their families and their daily routine. What struck me the most was their innocence and simplicity. Life is too simple when you are a kid and these kids were living proof of that. They didn't have any worries or responsibilities. All they wanted was to play and have fun. It was a stark contrast to the life of adults who are constantly struggling to make ends meet. As we talked, I couldn't help but think about how our inner child disappears as we gr

Picking Up Trash While Hiking in Kritipur,Kathmandu: Our Experience on Champadevi Temple Trail

Last Thursday, February 16th, my five friends and I decided to go for a hike to champadevi temple located in kritipur, ktm.The temple is located at an altitude of 2278m and is known for its beautiful views and spiritual significance. As we started our hike we were amazed by the breathtaking views of the Himalayas, lush forest, and city below. However, our joy was short-lived as we noticed that there was litter scattered everywhere on the trail. Empty wrappers, plastic, bottles, and even food have littered the path, taking away from the beauty of the natural surroundings. It was disheartening to see how people carelessly discard their trash on the trail not realizing the harm it causes to the environment. As nature lovers and responsible citizens/hikers, we could not sit back and watch the situation worsen. So we decided to do our bit and started picking up the trash we saw along the way. We took the trash bag with us and as we walked along the trail, we filled it up with the litter we

Last weekend my four friends and I decided to embark on a hiking adventure to Champadevi Temple, Kathmandu. The hike started as any other, with excitement and anticipation to explore the natural beauty of the area and experience the spiritual aura of the temple. We had set out early in the morning and were making good progress. Little did we know that this would turn out to be one of the most memorable experiences of our lives. As we made our way up the trail, we quickly realized that we had missed our way. We were lost and unsure of how to get back to the village. But just when we were about to lose all hope, a village dog named Fuchay appeared. He was wearing a huge belt along with sharp nails around his neck to avoid any potential attacks from wild animals. Fuchay had followed us from the tea shop where we had given him some biscuits and now he showed us the path and stayed with us for our safety. We were grateful for his presence as he could sense danger and stayed with us until we
