"Lost and Found " A Hiking Tale of Misadventure and Survival in Champadevi Temple,Kathmandu

Last weekend my four friends and I decided to embark on a hiking adventure to Champadevi Temple, Kathmandu. The hike started as any other, with excitement and anticipation to explore the natural beauty of the area and experience the spiritual aura of the temple. We had set out early in the morning and were making good progress. Little did we know that this would turn out to be one of the most memorable experiences of our lives.

As we made our way up the trail, we quickly realized that we had missed our way. We were lost and unsure of how to get back to the village. But just when we were about to lose all hope, a village dog named Fuchay appeared. He was wearing a huge belt along with sharp nails around his neck to avoid any potential attacks from wild animals. Fuchay had followed us from the tea shop where we had given him some biscuits and now he showed us the path and stayed with us for our safety. We were grateful for his presence as he could sense danger and stayed with us until we safely returned.

The route was dangerous and slippery, but we had to find a way back to the village at any cost. We were exhausted, out of water and food, and had to navigate through the dense vegetation and steep slopes. Our journey was made even more challenging as we were all injured and hurt by the bushes and plants. However, we were lucky to have a medical kit with us.

As the sun started to set, we realized that we wouldn't be able to reach the temple before it got dark. We were exhausted, and all we wanted was to get back to the village. Nevertheless, we promised to come back in a few days to complete our journey and see Fuchay again.

This unexpected adventure taught us the importance of being prepared, staying calm in difficult situations, and the power of friendship and determination. We also learned to appreciate the beauty and diversity of nature and to never take it for granted.

In conclusion, our misadventure in Champadevi Temple will always be a story that we'll remember and cherish forever. We didn't reach the temple but the experience was much meaningful because of fuchay's unwavering loyalty and protection .we hope that this story will inspire others to embrace the unknown and never give up, even when the going gets tough.

I met these 3 kids on my way to the village of champadevi temple, Kathmandu and it was a refreshing experience. The kids were around 8 to 10 years old and they playing with their cartoon masks. They were carefree and enjoying their best life, and it was a delight to watch them play. As I approached them, they looked at me with curiosity and smiled. I smiled back and introduce myself. They were shy at first but so on they opened up and started talking. They told me about their school and their favorite subjects. They also talked about their families and their daily routine. Introduction : As summer vacation arrived, our classmates and I eagerly planned a memorable adventure to make the most of our 15-day break. After much discussion, we decided to embark on a hike to Bhundole in Pharphing—a place recommended by one of our classmates who had seen its popularity on TikTok. With homemade lunch in our backpacks, we set off early in the morning, filled with excitement and anticipation for the journey ahead. The Journey Begins: On an early Wednesday morning, we hopped on a bus at 6:30 am from Naya Bazar to Balkhu, paying a nominal fare of Rs 20.
